My Pet and I are going to be attending a munch this evening. Definitely overdue.
I pretty much (well, completely) stopped going to munches (and play parties) when it became clear I’d be attending them alone. That sucked all the fun out of the experience, so I just stopped. Also, with my Pet being in Virginia, there was little chance our schedules would dovetail in a way that we’d be in the same place at the same time to go to one.
As it turns out, the munch is at a venue that I’ve been to before. I thought this particular bar/restaurant had closed a few years ago, but I think it just changed owners. The name is the same, and the interior photos look similar to what I remember from the last time I went. Unfortunately, it looks like only a limited number of people will be there, so I expect it will be a subdued event.
Certainly time to dip my/our feet back into the local kink scene. Will more than likely update tomorrow (won’t that be different as well?!?)
I think it was definitely fun and we met some really nice people. Luckily the bar was a nice one and it didn’t have that ‘bar’ atmosphere. I look forward to going to the next one with you. It was very nice to be there as M/s. Finally!
